The persistent failure mode in zipper pouch packing is not the zipper itself but product migration into the interlock track during filling. A single granule lodged in the track prevents full engagement, and the pouch reaches the consumer with a closure that appears shut but leaks. This machine addresses that failure at the source: a post-fill track clearing station uses a directed air knife and mechanical wiper to sweep the zipper groove immediately after the filling cycle
